FREE was number 1 for 6 weeks straight in August and September on National radio station YES FM 101, home grown top 15 countdown, Sri Lanka and has broken the record for the longest stay in the number 1 spot by a female artist. Senani will be releasing a special remix single of her song FREE. It will feature a special dance club version produced by Nashville songwriter/singer/rapper and music producer Herschel Garrison as well as a second remix featuring K Rush and produced by Howie Moscovitch. The single will be promoted in the UK and will be accompanied by a re-edited version of the original FREE video clip with additional scenes to be shot in Sydney, Australia. The single will be released in February 2014. Senani will also be filming a new music video clip for her recently previewed single- Flirting not Working. This video will be shot in January and feature scenes of Sydney Harbour as well as her co-star Sunil Pmath. Senani was interviewed by Big Blend Radio in California on 08/01/2014 regarding music and her new EP Infinity- the singles release, amongst other topics. She also featured in the UK based magazine MATTERZ, speaking about music, her single FREE and touring. Senani is excited to be involved in the filming of scenes for a 90 minute documentary on her mother, Jeevarani Kurukulasuriya's life story which is to be televised on National TV station Rupavahini in Sri Lanka in the next few months. Jeevarani was voted and awarded Sri Lanka's most popular actress in Sri Lanka in the 1960's and early 1970's and has been given three lifetime achievement awards for acting by the film industry (presented by President at the time Chandrika Bandaranaike). During filming which took place in January 2014, Senani spoke about her relationship with her mum, her experience of life growing up and how her mother has influenced her music career, including exposing her to South Asian instruments such as tabla and sitar. These instruments have become a feature on her latest album Infinity. Senani has been voted into the top Hot 100 Live Artists & Bands list for 2013 by the popular Music industry publication MUSIC CONNECTION magazine! Each year they honor 100 outstanding independent artists and bands, based on submissions from their staff and writers. Senani's artist/band name, website, genre, and location (city/state) will be published in our December issue in our Hot 100 list, which hits stands on November 27 and goes online December 2nd. Senani attended the 2013 Hollywood Music in Media Awards hosted at the Fonda theatre on 21st November in Hollywood, California where she was nominated in the R&B Soul category for her song 'FREE'. Senani's music video FREE aired on Sidekicks TV show on KRCT cable on November 9th and 10th 2013 and has also been added to the playlist of the following channels/programs and Music video sites based in the USA- The Pulse TV network, H2o Television, IndiMusic.tv, California Music Channel, Video hits,Video Detective.com, Screen Play, Underground Music videos, Evision/Billboard DJ, BuzzNet.com, Suus.com, PCMusic and Moviesonline.im Senani will be playing on November 29th 2013 at Room 5 lounge in Los Angeles as a duo with guitarist Bernie Godwin. It will be marked as her debut performance in California.

Senani's new single 'Free' has been nominated for a Hollywood Music in Media Awards (HMMA) in the R&B SOUL category for 2013 with the ceremony being held at the FONDA theatre in Hollywood on November 21st 2013.
Senani is celebrating this nomination and the release of her EP INFINITY (the singles) with a showcase/party at the exclusive Events on 3rd in Nashville on Monday October 21st 2013. It will be a free event with full band. Show starts at 7.30pm with support act, singer/songwriter Kevin So.

Senani visited the colourful back streets of inner city Sydney late last year for the filming of her new music video for the latest single to be released from the album, 'Just Us'. The song explores the ending of a relationship and its reasons ('Its not you, It's not me, It's just us") and the clip weaves in a story line with dance and the many faces of the singer. The video will be released in February 2013.

The single 'Free' aired on Mixxbosses 2RDJ 88.1FM with DJD interviewing Senani on October 3rd.
Free also aired on 2NSB FM on the Breakfast show with Don Keady on October 29th.
Senani brought the Infinity Show to Sydney's most reputable live music venue The Basement on October 10th with a 7 piece soul/funk band, robotic hip hop dancing and special guest Australia's premier female Turntablist DJD adding her flavour to the live mix.
The music video for Voodoo Girl made its TV debut on Friday October 19th on MTV India and is currently on its playlist.
Hip hop song 'Just us', the fifth single from the album is soon to be released with a music video clip that was filmed on the streets of Sydney.

Senani will be releasing a Dj remix version of Voodoo Girl very shortly. Keep an ear out for it.
A second song from the album is planned to be released in late March. Titled 'FREE' it is a fusion funky uptempo track and a music video is being filmed for the song in Melbourne.

'Voodoo Girl' was officially released on November 11th 2011 and is the first single from the album Infinity.
